Ok, ok .... I know it has been a WHILE since our last posting .... but a lot has happened since then, as you can see.




SURPRISE!!!!!!

Most recently, I (Lindsay) turned 29 - and was surprised to find out that my amazing hubby planned a surprise karaoke party for me .... wow, it was quite a night at Durty Nellys. You can see more pics at kevinkaraoke.com (November 8th)

NAPA!!!!!!

Dider, Aunt Pam, Kate & I took an amazing weekend trip to Napa to taste wine, see the beautiful vineyards, and soak in mineral baths .... but most importantly, to spend some Q-time with each other. We had a blast. It was BEAUTIFUL!

CORONADO!!!

Luuc and I finally broke out the mountain bikes and took a little ride in San Diego. It was a beautiful trail.

EUROPE!!!!

Yes, it was a once-in-a-lifetime trip for Lety and I ..... we took a 2-week tour of Western Europe. LOTS of trains, lots of maps, lots of hotels, lots of local cuisine, so many memories!

AMSTERDAM - We took the "wine and cheese tasting" nightly canal cruise.

BRUSSELS - dreamland. Amazing chocolate, french fries, beer, waffles, and ... Greek food. Hmmm. Not to mention it is BEAUTIFUL!

PAR-eee!! A rainy day in Paris, but it was perfect.

BARCELONA -- one of my favorite stops. We saw the work of Antonio Gaudi .... incredible!! And we saw a Flamenco show & have been hooked on Flamenco ever since. Tapas and Sangria .... wow.

LAKE COMO, Italy - gorgeous views in the coutryside of Italy.

VENICE - everything you ever imagined it is!!! Beautiful ancient decay.

ROME - old and beautiful.

And HARDENBERG, Holland! The Dams welcomed us so warmly .... it was a really nice way to end the trip.

August 6th -- Our 4-year American anniversary!

We had visitors over the summer! Anne-Margreet and Gerard came to spend some time with us. They had quite an adventure! You will have to check out Anne-Margreet's blog for more pics ....

The Chicago 2008 Moser All-Girls Retreat .... what a fabulous time! We saw Wicked & hit the streets of Chicago. Good times.

Another visitor! Nienke (Luuc's cousin) came to stay with us for a week while she worked for an internship right down the road ... what a small world. We had a great time.

Veracruz!!

I took a trip to Veracruz with my friend Lety ... she showed me around her hometown & all of the beautiful sites. It was an amazing trip!

January 2008

I spent the weekend in a cabin at Big Bear Lake with some friends from Tustin Ranch ... and Lety came for a day in the mountains too! We had a great time in the snow!

We took a trip back to Illinois in December. It was great to see everyone. We had a travel adventure & ended up spending a lot of time in airports and rental cars .... but it was worth it - we wouldn't miss Christmastime with the fam!
